Voya Cares: Building on a decade of championing financial inclusion for people with disabilities and caregivers. Revisit some of our achievements from each year below

Voya Cares® was launched following an Executive Leadership meeting in Orlando, marking the beginning of a company‑wide commitment to advancing disability inclusion.

Voya Cares expanded its impact by supporting the Special Olympics, engaging with the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) and forming an employee disabilities focus group to better understand and serve the community’s unique financial needs.

This was a landmark year as Voya Cares became a founding member of the CEO Commission for Disability Employment, published the thought-leading “For the Benefit of All” research, hosted C21 inclusive dining events across major U.S. cities, launched internal Champion training to advance disability inclusive learning and earned national recognition as a Disability:IN Employer of the Year and a Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion.

Voya Cares continued building momentum through a C21 inclusive dining event in Minneapolis while introducing disability‑inclusive product and service applications and once again being recognized as a Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion by the Disability Equality Index.

Voya Cares deepened its commitment through publication of a financial wellness guide with NDSS and entrepreneur grants for business owners with Down syndrome, helped lead a CEO Commission event at the NYSE and maintained its Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion distinction.

Voya’s inclusive storytelling and thought leadership was celebrated as the “Growing Up” ad highlighted authentic representation, alongside continued proprietary research, entrepreneur grants for business owners with Down syndrome and Disability Equality Index recognition.

Voya Cares expanded its reach internationally at the Harkin Institute Disability Employment Summit in Belfast, continued NDSS entrepreneur support and returned to the NYSE with the CEO Commission while sustaining top DEI recognition.

Voya Cares released proprietary research on employment extenders, maintained its standing as a Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion and continued investing in disability entrepreneurship through the NDSS entrepreneur grants.

Voya Cares launched its first Ambassador Training class to extend the reach of the program, elevated disability voices through panels and conferences, received the BenefitsPro Luminaries Humanizing Benefits Award and continued national recognition and grant support.

Voya Cares marked another year of consistent leadership by sustaining Disability Equality Index recognition, continuing long‑standing support through NDSS Entrepreneur Grants and Release financial wellness guide in braille and large print with National Braille Press.

As Voya Cares celebrates 10 years of impact, the focus turns forward — inviting the community to share their voices, engage as advocates and help shape the next chapter of disability inclusion inspired by everything achieved since 2016.
