Pamela Reis Kluender

Reis Kluender’s creative teaching idea, “Meeting the Unique Needs of Gifted Students,” is designed to empower gifted students through the use of enhanced computer resources, meaningful connections with business professionals and inspiring career exploration opportunities. With access to high-performance computing devices, Reis Kluender’s students will explore computer programming, AI and robotics in real-world applications and utilize industry-standard software for video production, digital design and 3D modeling. The Voya grant will allow students to visit business worksites to participate in hands-on activities and invite professionals to the classroom for one-on-one discussions. College trips will further spark students’ curiosity about diverse careers and inspire a sense of possibility. Reis Kluender’s initiative aims to unlock the potential of gifted learners and guide them toward meaningful, ambitious paths by combining resources and experiences.
