Decuf’s innovative teaching idea, “Podcasting in STEM,” focuses on using podcasting to increase students’ communication and collaboration skills. The students will be designing, collaborating, communicating with their peers, researching and practicing good digital citizenship to create video announcements that they will broadcast on our school YouTube channel. Through the use of video podcasting, students will have an opportunity to build upon skills that better prepare them for their future. By providing meaningful learning activities that appeal to today’s digital learner, the learning will be more engaging and exciting for the student.
