Gina Wiechman

Wiechman’s innovative teaching idea, “Community Service Project,” focuses on giving students the opportunity to design and construct a community “Kindness Garden.” Hidden or placed throughout the garden will be hand-painted rocks with words of kindness that visitors can find and hide again to spread the messages. The garden will afford students the opportunity to learn community service by cleaning, planting, designing and maintaining a central location for the community to enjoy nature and spread kindness.
