Upgrades effective Wednesday, July 26, 2023

We have made significant enhancements to our technology platform, which are being released on Wednesday, July 26, 2023. This upgrade provides you with:

  • A new login process utilizing Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) that provides increased security measures to help keep your data protected.
  • New debit cards with access to complementary Mastercard® Identity Theft Protection.
  • Customers with HSAs will have their custodianship moved to Voya Institutional Trust Company. This will provide a convenient, one-stop digital experience with their Voya account that easily integrates with current and future Voya offerings.

Your next steps

  1. Access the portal to complete a new registration for your account. See First-time registration section below for instructions. 
  2. For debit card holders, you can now activate your new card using the instructions you received in the mail. Please note the following:
    1. If you have any out-of-pocket expenses that occurred between Friday, July 21, 2023 and Tuesday, July 25, 2023, please request reimbursement from your account. 
    2. Reschedule any recurring transactions. 
    3. Activate your Mastercard ID Theft Protection™ by accessing ID Theft Protection, click on “Activate Now” and enter your new card number. 
  3. Download our new mobile app. Proceed to the Voya Health Accounts Solutions mobile app section below for details.

We have strengthened the login process for your account. Please follow the instructions below to access the portal and create a new username and password. 

  • Go to myhealthaccountsolutions.voya.com and click “Register Now.”
  • Confirm your identity by providing your Social Security Number and one of the following options:
    • Use a Personal Identification Number (PIN) that will be sent by mail. 
    • Provide your Date of Birth and a code sent to your email or phone number on file. 
    • Provide your Date of Birth and answer a few short questions from your personal history.
  • Create your new username and password. These will also be needed to access the mobile app.

Please note: If you have a Voya retirement account, after you register you will be able to use your existing username and password to log in.

Once you have visited the portal to register, please bookmark the new login link in order to continue accessing your account. 

If your dependent(s) had their own debit card, they should have received a new one in the mail. If you would like to add a card for an eligible dependent, please contact a Voya representative at 833-232-4673. 

Please note: 

  • Dependents that you assign cards to must be at least 18 years of age
  • You’ll need each dependent’s Social Security Number and Date of Birth

As part of these changes, we have integrated Voya's cash management program into your Health Savings Account (HSA). This means that starting Wednesday, July 26, 2023, Voya Institutional Trust Company (VITC) will be the new custodian for your HSA, replacing WEX Inc., the current custodian.   

In addition, as part of this transfer, your existing Health Savings Account Custodial Agreement, which governs the operation of your HSA, is being replaced by VITC’s Health Savings Account Custodial Agreement (“Voya’s Agreement”).

To help keep your money safer, as soon as your new debit cards are activated, you are eligible to receive complementary identity theft protection via our arrangement with Mastercard.
