Task Force

Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Task Force is an ongoing initiative that was developed to diversify our workforce at all levels, support racial and social justice, and create opportunities that advance our business and build on the strong culture that we have created at Voya.

Our commitment to DEI

In addition to advancing DEI at Voya, the Task Force is committed to addressing issues of inequity among our colleague and client populations, and enriching communities to achieve our purpose to fight for everyone’s opportunity at a better financial future.

DEI Task Force structure

The Task Force comprises various cross-functional pods made up of Voya Financial employees who represent the company’s businesses, functions, backgrounds, experiences and levels within the organization.

DEI Strategic Pillars

Task Force members provide actionable recommendations and solutions guided by data and research across DEI’s three pillars: Colleagues, Clients and Communities.

The recommendations are presented to Voya’s Executive Committee through targeted, measurable programs and initiatives that increase equity and inclusion, generate innovative ideas and create new opportunities for the business.


How we’re accelerating our progress

While the DEI Task Force is working to address issues related to underrepresented groups, the work we are doing will benefit all. Our commitment to DEI, our focus on community, and our inclusive culture are at the core of our purpose — the reason Voya exists — and central to who we are. Groups of focus include, but are not limited to, African American/Black, Asian American, People with Disabilities and Special Needs and Caregivers, Latinx, LGBTQ+, NextGen, Women and Veterans.
