Voya Financial’s Paul Howell Appointed to Captain Planet Foundation Board of Directors
Voya Financial, Inc. (NYSE: VOYA), announced today that Paul Howell, deputy general counsel, Litigation and Regulatory Disputes, has been appointed to the board of Captain Planet Foundation (CPF), an organization whose mission is to give the next generation of environmental stewards an active understanding and love for the natural world in which they live.

Howell is an accomplished business leader with over 40 years of legal experience. In his current role, he leads the team responsible for managing litigation and regulatory disputes for Voya Financial, Inc. Prior to joining Voya, he was a founding partner of Pursley, Howell, Lowery & Meeks, a law firm that confined its practice to assisting clients in litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
“In addition to providing environmental learning strategies to schools around the globe, the foundation has helped thousands of U.S. schools and community groups create learning gardens that provide healthy food options in cafeterias, assist in preserving bees and other pollinators, and teach the importance of native plants,” said Howell. “I am excited by the opportunity to work with an organization that inspires children and young people to be responsible stewards of our precious natural resources and to create environmental solutions in their homes and communities.”
