Voya Financial’s Carolyn Johnson Appointed to The Mark Twain House & Museum Board of Directors

(NYSE: VOYA), announced today that Carolyn Johnson, chief executive officer of Insurance Solutions for Voya, has been appointed to the board of The Mark Twain House & Museum, an organization that’s mission is to foster an appreciation of the legacy of Mark Twain as one of our nation's defining cultural figures, and to demonstrate the continuing relevance of his work and life.

With more than 25 years in financial services, Johnson has an extensive knowledge of the industry and significant leadership experience managing high-performing businesses across various markets. In her current role at Voya, Johnson is responsible for Voya’s Annuities, Individual Life and Employees Benefits businesses, which comprise its Insurance Solutions organization. Johnson is focused on more closely aligning the strengths of all three businesses, and providing a holistic customer experience through complementary product offerings. Johnson also serves on Voya’s Executive Committee.

The  Mark Twain House & Museum has restored the author's Hartford, Connecticut home where the family lived from 1874 to 1891.Twain wrote his most important works during the years he lived there, including Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, and A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court.
